The book, written in English, documents the activism work of women in Jordan since the 1940s. The book explores the tactics the women activists used to achieve many of their demands over the years as well as exploring their failures and future aspirations.

  • THE HISTORICAL AND RELIGIOUS SEEDS OF HONOUR 2012

    Contributed a chapter in the book "Abraham’s Children: Liberty and Tolerance in an Age of Religious Conflict”. The chapter traced the root causes of the so-called honor murders from ancient civilisations until our modern days. The chapter also pointed out the religions’ point of view from adultery and the treatment of women in general.

  • HONOR, VIOLENCE, WOMEN AND ISLAM 2010

    Contributed a chapter in the book "Honour, Violence, Women and Islam". The chapter is entitled “A comparative study of the reform work conducted in Asia and Europe to combat violence and ‘so-called’ honour murders."

  • SURVEY OF WOMEN’S RIGHTS IN THE MIDDLE EAST January 2009 -March 2010

    Author of Jordan's country report that was compiled and included in Freedom House's Survey of Women's Rights in the Middle East and North Africa. The chapter assessed the status and progress of women in Jordan that have occurred between January 2004-2009.

  • A MODERN NARRATIVE FOR MUSLIM WOMEN IN THE ME APRIL 2010 - AUGUST 2010

    Author of Jordan's country report that was compiled and included in the American Islamic Congress' report “A Modern Narrative for Muslim Women in the Middle East.”. The chapter assessed the status and progress of women in Jordan that have occurred in the past three years.
